About Snake Arena
Snake Arena is a multiplayer take on the classic snake formula. You start small, eat orbs to grow, and try not to crash - into walls, into yourself, or into the trail of any other snake slithering around the arena. The twist is that everyone else is doing the same thing, so the arena fills up fast and survival becomes a traffic problem.
Killing other snakes is how you score big. Force an opponent's head into your body and they explode into orbs you can eat. The bigger you are, the easier it is to encircle and trap smaller snakes - but size also makes you clumsy, and a single bad turn ends a long run.
The risk-reward loop is the whole game. Stay small and nimble to dodge, or grow huge to dominate and risk a crash that loses everything. Most deaths come from greed - chasing a kill into a corner, or overcommitting to an encircle that a smaller snake slips out of.
Matches are continuous - die, respawn small, immediately rejoin. The arena persists, the leaderboard shuffles, and climbing it is the progression.
How to Play
Steer your snake with the mouse or arrow keys. Eat orbs scattered around the arena to grow longer.
Avoid crashing. Hitting a wall, your own body, or another snake's body kills you instantly.
Kill opponents by making their head hit your body. When a snake dies, it drops orbs you can eat to grow faster.
Use boost (click or a dedicated key) to speed up briefly at the cost of shedding some length. Boost helps close kills or escape traps.

Tips
Stay small early to learn the traffic patterns. Huge snakes dominate but die to a single bad turn; small snakes are nimble and can escape.
Don't chase kills into corners. The most common death is overcommitting to an encircle that the target slips out of, leaving you boxed in.
Use boost to escape, not just attack. A well-timed boost out of a closing trap saves your run; using it only for offense wastes its survival value.
Encircle smaller snakes to trap them. Once you fully surround an opponent, they have nowhere to go - but commit only when the encircle is certain.
Controls
